Why Human Grade Ingredients are Important
We all love our pets. They are an important member of the family and deserve the same care that we do. Therefore, we use “Human Grade” ingredients in Doggondiments. Human ingredients are made to high standards and are closely overseen by various regulating agencies. If they are good enough for me, then they are good enough for my best friend!
Non-GMO, No Artificial Colors or Flavors
Our ingredients are non-GMO, and there are no artificial colors or flavors. We use neutral flavored grains like oat and rice flour to carry the scent and flavor without adding flavor. Rice bran is a natural anti-caking ingredient to help prevent clumping. Whole powdered eggs, potato and peanut flour, beef and chicken broth, dairy products herbs and spices all support the scent dogs love, as well as our tasty flavors. Dextrose is a corn sweetener instead of using refined sugar. We use tapioca maltodextrin to help us add natural liquid flavors to a dry product.
Prebiotics for Healthy Digestion
The prebiotics are inulin and fructooligosaccharides. They are specialized plant fibers which stimulate the growth of healthy bacteria in the gut. These are complex carbs that aren’t digested and pass through the digestive system to feed the good bacteria and microbes in your gut, the probiotics. All this works to provide good health and digestive system to your best friend. And all of this while giving your pet its favorite flavors without all of the calories.
